So you're interested..?

Well, to start of I want to say thanks for showing your interest. As a magazine that is just starting out, its great to know that so many people care to help out! THANKS SO MUCH!

Okay so I'm sure you're wondering what is this "Eleanor" and why does "she" want to take my photo? Well Eleanor Magazine, is a grass roots magazine that is due to come out in the Fall of 2008. It's the brain child of creator Bianca D (www.myspace.com/eleanorzine I'll get a personal blog soon, when I get a life outside my job -_-), It started out as a small idea she had in the 8th grade and spawned out into a crazy fashion magazine. Growing up Bianca felt as though many magazine out today lacked representation of women and men of all skin colors, lacked morals and values, and simply cared about following the crowd versus expressing themselves. So she felt as though it was her absolute duty to create a magazine that cared about these thing, as was fashion forward versus following what Britney Hilton or Paris Spears was wearing. Thus the magazine was born! It has been a long time coming but thanks to the help of her magazine family, September 2008 will be Eleanor's big day! But we need YOUR help..

So here's the deal about modeling for us:

Despite what you may have preconceived, there is no pay for this. This is a student based project and we are asking for you to volunteer. We will be glad to give you digital copies of your modeling, but we cannot promise you compensation for your time because we're just starting out. Maybe in the future we can offer stipends, but not at the moment.

However, we do offer free food at shoots!

We need you to BE ON TIME, we're using a lot of help from friends and family to help us with these shoots. If your late, that's it, you won't be in the shoot, we have too much to accomplish to wait. We will wait if you call ahead, but don't expect us to be there at our meeting place if you show up 30mins late or more.

We truly appreciate your time and understand we are asking a lot of you. Expect to make great friends and meet new interesting people. We love feedback, if you have a cool idea feel free to pitch it and if you're interested in writing for us, believe us we could use your help!
